@ros6666
Yeah, sure. What, you think these halogens operate at less than that?
Cool i did about the same thing when converting my old reflectors, but instead of doing it on the ground, the reflector was on my toolbox, used tape to mark everything, my garage door was a tape mess!
will this work on a 1992 e30 316i?
@shadlad91 lol
its gravy
@weso548 troll….silence for the troll…..
@shadlad91 This is pointless and i think its even more pointless to take offense to others saying its pointless. REALLY? what makes you think your opinion is more VALID than the next guys. Cant wait to hear an awesome reply from you.
With love- weso548
i did this and it fell to pieces, ironic song choice
@shadlad91 i drive an nx1600 and they don have any aftermarket lights for my ride
HEY MAN JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS, FOR THIS VIDEO… I HAVE A 99, CONTOUR SVT, AND THEY DON’T MAKE ANDY AFTERMARKET PROJECTION HEADLIGHTS FOR MY C-SVT… ONCE AGAIN THANKS….

@shadlad91 I’m with you man. I own a 1997 Subaru Legacy GT. The only projector headlights they make for my car are JDM and expensive. Plus they come aimed for RHD cars. The people who say this is pointless are probably the same asshats that drive around with HID kits with no projectors so they blind everyone else on the road.
with my luck i’d break it..
im sorry but did u put it in the oven WITH the halogen bulbs in there? wow…..
@CBH I actually took apart the housing and it is a projector housing. If i take a flash light and put it flush with the back of the housing, and shine the light through the projector lens, I get the straight line of light. I was told it could be the type of bulbs I am using. Thanks.
@BlackCaScorpio because HID are not meant for Halogen headlights. Thus why this video was made for a retrofit/projectors
nice work man. I really apreciate the DIY spirit you have. Nothing is more rewarding than making something with your own hands. I will use this tutorial during the summer when I take on the challenge of creating my own projectors. Everyone on the legacy forums will be jealous!
I have after market hid lights and the light is scattered. Any reason why? I checked the inside of my projector lenses, and it does have that metal shield just after the hid’s that I thought was responsible for making the light shine straight from left to right. Instead its shining in the road and in other drivers eyes.
@mykc1978 if you knew anything about projectors and HID you would know why its good. you obviously don’t, so you shouldnt have watched this video.
@greyhoundchofer ebay
hey why don’t you use heat gun?
way more effort then its worth and exp for wanna be that want projectors will fuck this up and do a shit job.
y not use a heat gun
?
do you have like a website where i can buy these for my car? ’cause… i don’t think i can make that… =/
