The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee continues its successful run with new underpinnings. This new Mercedes-Benz-shared platform gives it a car-like ride on pavement, but properly equipped, it’ll go off road with the best of ‘em. @tbursee lol yeah sure a million miles on it, i have an accord i love it but ill believe a million miles when i see proof.
@JasnoGT Well that may be , but as they say at the bottom of the diet commercials” Results Not Typical”. The average owner of those cars dont have such luck. I know mechanics at the Honda place who tell me its nothing for Honda’s to come for an oil change with 350,00 on the dash , after burning cheap oil , and regular gas. I know a guy with a 94′ accord with a million miles on it . Same motor and trans.
@JasnoGT Prove it then if u think its fake
@EmmetLBrown88
^ Such an obviously fake anecdote. Everyone knows Range Rover’s air suspension fails as soon as you drive it off the lot.
@tbursee
My uncle’s Chevy Silverado has over 500K miles on it. My 1989 Ford Bronco had 350k on it before I sold it…im sure its still going. Many old ZJ Grand Cherokees are still on the road with similar miles.
No offense to you tbursee but it seems like you’ve been brainwashed to believe the USA can’t build great cars.
Oh and one other thing… Guess you havent recent checked reliability reports… Ford and Chevy are beginning to kick Honda and Toyotas ass!
Too bad when i bought one i was so damn disappointed at it. When i went off road the air suspension went BOOM and a warning light came on the dash saying air suspension failure T.T So then i came back to the dealer and said no i dont want it anymore so they gave my money back and got myself a 2011 range rover
and it didnt disappointed at all versus the crapkee
It looks nice. I’m just not sold on american cars. I’m a honda man. I’ve only had toyotas and hondas. I got 375,000 iles out of my toyota, and I’ve got 484,000 on my honda civic. I just dont know of any amreican cars capable of that.
Love it! Just wish I could get it at US prices! Looking at one now, and I’ll be paying around 80 000USD
funny how jeep tells us don’t go over rocks without skid plates.well as this jeep has 20″ wheels and no tow hooks , it means it’s not trail rated and should not be going over rocks ha ha.
BEST TRUCK IN THE MARKET! IW OULD DEF BUY A GRAND CHEROKEE IF I HAD A CHOICE WITH ANY SUV!! i sure as fuck AINT CHOOSE A GAY 2011 EXPLORER! THOSE ARE GARBAGE!! ford tries to Hard!
That New JGC is freaking silky smooth. Love it.
@scotsmaninusa Just want to make clear that nowhere in this piece do I say the loaded Overland costs “$35 grand they’re telling you here” as is in your post (re-read your own original post). I appreciate everyone keeping things accurate.
@scotsmaninusa The Overland 4×2 starts at around $39K which is what this piece accurately states. Options do add up quickly as they do in any vehicle.
is that the base model
Those of you who mourn the fact that this isn’t the same as a 99 Jeep GC should move into the new millenium. I’ve got news for you…the Wrangler isn’t the same as the original Willy’s Jeep either. Each generation improves on the one before and, yes, it does also move it to an ever changing market. Take your 10 year old Jeep GC off road and over the rocks. In 10 years you might own a 2011 Jeep GC and be off roading it whilst complaining that the latest 2021 Jeep GC isn’t as good as the 2011.
they can keep it! i’ll keep my 99 with solid front and rear axles and venerable torquey 4.0 inline six!!! Best engine Jeep ever made hands down.Got 206,000 and you can’t even hear it run.Too much luxury not enough utility! notice no roof rack!Its a dealer installed option
“This SUV handles like a sports car.” — Makes me think they’ve never driven a sports car. I don’t care if Ferrari built this thing… an SUV will never handle like a “sports car”. They probably only drive “sports cars” with quotes around them.
So much dissapointed with newer tendencies that Jeep recently has…. Those are not “The JEEPS” anymore, the way we are used to them and the reason we love them for…..
The fact that in most of the countries arround the world jeep is not a brand name anymore, its like name for any 4×4 car….
Newer market demands to have such computers on wheels. Thank god wrangler stayes the same!
no mf that ive seen so far driving these, won’t ever use any of those options.
anybody that has not actually driven this truck should hold mtheir comments.
poor jeeps so much luxury….so much plastic….so much maintenance cost….
Jim Morrison lmao. Actually the faces kind of look the same.
@MrStrman The new jeeps are much much different than the old ones. They are very solid cars, the ride is much quieter, and smoother. Everything is put together very nicely. The dashboard is stitched in leather, everything is soft to the touch. Give jeep another chance.
@freekincage77 Pentastar. You will see this V-6 in several Chrysler products being introduced in the next few months.
i hate how they’re ripping off lr3 now
R.i.p jeep
Ps did he say ped-o-star?
