@ButlerCollision outstanding. thanks. i would assume that the eastwood gun is mostly like the devilbiss. they say in their own video they essentially took all the features of known guns and made their own, for the hobby user. which means to me, they stole the devilbiss design, and lowered the CFM rating. maybe even threw on some other features from other guns. its good to have reviews from guys like you, who understand the hobbiest mindset. thanks. i’ll review eastwood if i get it.
@ButlerCollision alright thanks man
@Munky332 I understand what you are saying. I am familiar with DeVilbiss. We have used one for priming, but they cave tips for base coat too. In fact I wrote a amazon review about this gun. You can read the review about this gun at CollisionBlast(dot)com/DeVilbiss The eastward gun probably works good too, I just have never used one.
@ButlerCollision i would hope they work good, they’re 600$+ guns. if they didnt work good i’d say you got gypped. lol. unfortunately the every day hobby guy has many many other things to spend that money on, so for me, its a toss up between the eastwood guns and devilbiss. eastwoods guns have lower CFM requirements.
@Munky332 This may depend on the paint brand used. A car will take 2 to 3 quarts depending on the size of car. (this is unreduced) As far as the paint gun, I do not know much about that gun. Iwata or SATA work good.

how much paint was used to do the whole car, looks like you only used 1 full cup per coat? but then again didnt get to see any changeovers.. also, what do you think of eastwood companies concours guns if you have ever heard of them?
@mynamesnick1 Yes, I think it is a good idea to do practice painting before painting your car. This will give you a feel for the gun. Thanks for watching.
would you recommend doing practice runs with sanding and painting like other videos on pieces of metal or just going straight in to paint. reason im asking is cuz i need a repaint on my 73 riviera
Nice, awesome work!!!
